No Fees Until You Settle, All Consultations Are Free

Girones Bourdon Kelly Lawyers* provide quality legal advice and representation to victims of medical malpractice and personal injury, including car accidents, slip and falls, and disability insurance denials.

Most of our cases are accepted on a deferred fee basis, meaning that you do not pay until the end of your case.

Contingency fees agreements in Ontario are now regulated by the Law Society of Ontario and we encourage everyone to read the  Law Society’s Consumer Guide to Contingency Fee Agreement in Ontario.

A  website link to Frequently Asked Questions  about Contingency fees agreements is currently in development. In the meantime your potential lawyer can answer your questions during the free initial consultation.

Our firm offers contingency fee agreement in personally injury and insurance matters. We do not offer contingency fee agreement for criminal or family matters. Our maximum contingency fees is 40% for complex medical malpractice and 33% for injury and insurance matters.

However different lawyers with different levels of experience  in the firm may offer lower percentage in certain situations and usually do so when  a client has multiple legal issues.

Remember also if  we are successful a portion of those fees and most of the disbursements will be added to any settlement or trial Judgement. In certain cases, if the matter goes to trial, the court may award additional costs which can be directed to your lawyer  to pay for fees  incurred.

Follow the links below to read more about our areas of expertise.
